Christopher MacDonald Obituary

Beloved son, brother, husband and father, Christopher Robert MacDonald, 43, suddenly passed away on February 23, 2024 at Bayshore Medical Hospital in New Jersey.

Chris was born on December 5, 1980, and grew up in Brick, he attended Brick high school and graduated in 2000. He earned his black belt in his teen years. He was an avid “Gym Rat” his whole life. He was a proud member of the “ADD” Allstars.

Chris was a hardworking Electrician with IBEW Local 102 Electrical Union and at the time of his passing he worked for Sal's Electric in Jersey City. Prior to joining the Electrical Union, Chris worked for the US Postal Service, which brought him to meet his wife Monica, while delivering mail at her place of work. Chris resided in Middletown, with his wife and three young children.

Chris was pre deceased by his grandparents, Joe and Winnie MacDonald and Richard and Jean Rufalo; his uncle, Richard Rufalo; his cousin Max Rufalo;

 He is survived by his; his loving wife Monica (Jeleniewski) MacDonald and his three young children Kennedy (8), Declan (6) and Harper (2) his parents, Robert and Deborah MacDonald; His sister, Jennifer MacDonald; his father and mother in-law, John and Clarisse Jeleniewski; his sister in-law and husband, Ashley and Mauricio Vayda; his niece, Sadie Vayda; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chris was a life-long Raiders fan, part of the Raider Nation. He enjoyed “making gains” weight lifting at the gym and play wrestling with his kids. Chris loved watching his son Declan play flag football and Kennedy cheerleading for the Middletown Eagles. He adored his youngest daughter Harper and loved cuddling on the couch. Chris was a family man, who enjoyed the simple things in life, providing for his family and making memories together. Chris and his family enjoyed their summer vacations in Wildwood and loved mowing and caring for the neighbor’s lawns.

Chris’s absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, but they take comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on through the cherished memories they hold. Chris's legacy is one of a life well-lived, filled with moments of joy, the love of his family and friends.
