Obituary for Barbara J. Moran (O'Keefe)

Barbara J. Moran, 70, of Hazlet, passed away on Saturday, May 30, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel. She was born the Bronx, lived in Keansburg, prior to moving to Hazlet 15 years ago. Barbara was retired from Ralph Friendland Bros, Keyport, where she worked as a seamstress for blinds. She enjoyed listening to music, going to see Willie Lynch, shopping, flea markets, going to Irish Festivals, cooking, but what she loved the most was spending time for her family, her granddaughter, and Wilbur. Barbara is predeceased by her beloved husband, John R. Moran Sr in 2006, her two sons John R. Moran Jr. in 2012 and Michael Arryo in 1973. She is survived by her fiancé, Nicholas DiGrigorio of Hazlet; two daughters and sons in-law, Melissa and Michael Crotty of Middletown and Lisa and Frank Spinelli of Tinton Falls; two sisters, Carol Flores of Union Beach and Theresa Ortiz of Nevada; a granddaughter, Natalia Spinelli; a grand fur baby, Wilbur; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Due to the current corona virus crisis, the Moran Family would like everyone to know that despite their desire to have everyone pay their respects, a private visitation will take place for immediate family only and the cremation will be private. The arrangements are entrusted to the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals, 233 Carr Avenue, Keansburg, New Jersey. Letters of condolences can be sent to
