Obituary for John G. Markulin

John G. Markulin, 94, of Hazlet, passed away on Thursday, April 30th, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel. He was born in Cleveland, OH, lived in Keansburg, prior to moving to Hazlet in 2010. John served in the US Army and was a Veteran of WWII. He also worked for Good Humor Corp. as a Truck Driver and retired in 1990. John was one of the founding members of the Good fellows Social Club in Keansburg. He enjoyed going to the Monmouth Race Track, playing cards, old movies and bowling. John’s passion was his family and loved spending time with them. John was predeceased by his loving wife of over 50 years; Carol Markulin in 2019; He is survived by his two sons and daughter in-law; James Markulin of Hazlet and Paul and Dawn Markulin of Aberdeen; his daughter; Marie Markulin of Matawan; three grandchildren; Daniel, Paul Jr. and Makenzie; many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. Arrangements were entrusted to the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Due to the current health crisis, cremation will be private.

To the family,
So sorry to hear this news knew your dad most of my life from the Willow Wood days. Enjoyed seeing him at the meetings or the bus rides to AC. May the memories get you all thru this difficult time. R.I.P. my friend and Goodfellow say hi to the old gang up there
