Joseph “Joey” T. Bailey, 76, of Keyport, passed away on Wednesday, December 25th, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel. He was born in Long Branch and lived most of his life in Keyport. He was retired from Anchor Glass, where he was a laborer. Joey loved his family; he enjoyed hunting, NHRA drag racing, his Lucky Strikes, going to breakfast and 4/20. He also was also an avid Giants fan. Joey was pre-deceased by his son; Scott Bailey. He is survived by his wife of 42 years; Charlotte Sickles Bailey of Union Beach; four sons; Michael Bailey, Joe Bailey, Chris Bailey and David Neuhping; four daughters; Heather and Dana Bailey, Corren Erving and Melanie Bailey; three sisters; Laura Jones, Edna Lawton and Georgie Cambron; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation was private. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Corren Erving dad I'm sorry. I will always have the memories of going to the candy store across from grandma. And going out to see the family on weekends. And the nature walks as u called them. But I am sorry. Love and miss u Cor

Love and miss u so much dad.u will always be remembered never forgotten. Thanks for being u .never sugar coated anything .always laughing in good spirit.i am going to miss your garbage trinkets that u would give me.and also go going around town in the summer. Soaking up the u always heather

Old man Joey u r going to miss and I know u r yelling at me for calling u joey. Have a blast wth friends up there and enjoy more time wth Scott. Hope u realize u where a pita but I loved u alot. U will b missed man. Sorry i didnt brake open the baileys for u and gave u sum but we did a shot of baileys for u. LOVE U AND MISS U ALOT OLD MAN.
