Obituary for Maureen "Mickey" R. Brennan (Groome)

Maureen “Mickey” Brennan, 70, of Keyport, passed away on Friday, January 25th, at home. She was born in Newark, lived in Union Beach, prior to moving to Keyport six years ago. Mickey loved spending her time at home with her family, especially time spent with her heart and soul who she enjoyed spoiling, her grandson Liam. Mickey is survived by the love of her life of 51 years, Michael Brennan Sr of Keyport; her son, Michael Brennan Jr of Union Beach; her daughter and son in-law, Colleen and Karl Myiow of Belford; a sisters, Diane Cacopardo of Idaho; her niece, Daneen Adams of Utah; and her beloved grandson Liam Gecik of Belford. A private cremation will take place as that was Mickey’s wish. The arrangements are under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. If you would like to make a donation in Mickey’s memory, please make a donation to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Letters of condolences can be sent to www.jacquelinemryanfh.com
