Obituary for Philip Trumper Sr.

Philip Trumper Sr., 61, of Port Monmouth, passed away on Saturday, March 2nd, at Bayshore Hospital, Holmdel. He was born in Newark, grew up in Highlands, prior to moving to Port Monmouth 17 years ago. Phil loved working for Sal’s Car Kare in Union Beach. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandson, hunting, and his gun collection. Phil was pre-deceased by his brother; Anthony Trumper and his sister; Maria Clarey. He is survived by his son and daughter in-law; Phil and Jennifer Trumper Jr of Port Monmouth a step-son; Mandel Figueroa of Keansburg; a step-daughter, Elissa Viera of Keansburg,a brother and sister in-law; Rick and Regina Trumper of Pennsylvania, a sister; Michelle Williams of Virginia, and his loving grandchildren; Tyler and Makenzie Trumper, and his nieces and nephews; Gina Moore, Joshua Juarba, Rick Trumper Jr, Ellen Trumper, Billy Joel Trumper, Anthony Viera, Steven Viera and Darius Viera. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, March 9th from 2-4pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg for a memorial service celebrating Phil’s life. Cremation was private.
