Ralph T. Lengyel Sr, 82, of Leonardo, passed away on Friday, January 15th. He was born and raised in Jersey City and lived in Aberdeen prior to moving to Leonardo ten years ago. Ralph proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was the owner operator of J.L.L. Inc Construction. Ralph was a member of the B.P.LO.E Elks Lodge 2402, Eatontown, an avid Dolphins fan, liked going fishing, loved traveling to Hawaii and other locations, he enjoyed a good beer and great conversation, but his favorite thing to do was spending time with family. He is survived by his four sons and daughter in-law, Ralph Lengyel Jr of Middletown, Christopher Lengyel of Keansburg, John and Virginia Lengyel of Aberdeen and Michael Lengyel of Keansburg; three step-sons Ronald Daily of Union Beach, Keith Daily and Rickie Daily both of Florida; two brothers Arthur Lengyel of Washington State and Robert Lengyel of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects for a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday from 3-7pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
