Angelica Boden Dechert Obituary

Angelica Boden Dechert, 29, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Born on December 20, 1995, in Newark, she was raised in Iselin before moving to Old Bridge. Angelica's vibrant spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew her. Her 29 years of life were filled with love, laughter, and joy.

Angelica was pre-deceased by her maternal grandparents Joseph and Angelina Boden. Angelica's legacy is carried on by her loving family, including her paternal grandparents Henry and Dorothy Dechert of Port Monmouth, her loving parents, John Dechert of Florida and Debra Dechert of Keansburg. Her spirit will forever be cherished by her beloved daughter, Kyleigh DeVaney of Old Bridge, and who was the light of her life. Angelica's brother and sister-in-law, John and Nicole Dechert of South Carolina, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members, will fondly remember her warmth and kindness.

Professionally, Angelica dedicated herself to the field of healthcare, working with ABA Therapy and several other agencies.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Angelica had a passion for life that was infectious. She had a talent for makeup artistry, often bringing out the inner beauty of those around her. Angelica's love for her daughter was unparalleled, and she cherished every moment spent with Kyleigh, whether they were playing at home or exploring the world together.

Angelica found solace and happiness at the beach. The sound of the waves and the feel of the sand beneath her feet were sources of great joy and relaxation. Her enthusiasm for Disney and other amusement parks was well-known, as she delighted in the magic and excitement they offered.

Angelica's radiant smile and generous nature will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. As we say goodbye to Angelica Boden Dechert, we celebrate the time we had with her and the countless ways she enriched our lives. Her spirit will continue to inspire us, and her memory will be held in our hearts forever.
