Barbara A. Ross, a cherished sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, at the age of 68 in Holmdel. Born on September 14, 1957, in Newark, raised in Minnesota, and lived in Middletown, prior to moving to Keyport 5 years ago.
Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Mabel Micchelli, her beloved daughter, Sheila Ross, and her brother, Donald Micchelli, Barbara's memory will be carried on by her surviving family. Her brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Jill Micchelli of Belford, along with her adoring nieces and grandchildren.
Barbara dedicated her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Activities Coordinator at Spring Hills Rehab in Matawan until her retirement in 2024. Her unwavering compassion and the joy she brought to her work left an indelible mark on the lives of the many individuals she served.
Barbara's life journey was marked by her resilience, her unwavering positivity, and her ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was a beacon of light to all who knew her, and her absence will be deeply felt by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.
As we bid farewell to Barbara A. Ross, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart that generously loved. She will be profoundly missed, yet the imprint she left on this world will continue to inspire and guide us. May she rest in peace, knowing that her spirit will forever be a part of the lives she touched.
Arrangements were under the care of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
