Carol Lynn Corbisiero, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2024, in Holmdel. Born on July 14, 1942, she was raised in New York, prior to moving to the Bayshore area in 1970.
Carol was predeceased by her beloved parents, Edward and Marion Schmidt, her devoted husband, Al Corbisiero, and her cherished daughter, Donna Hiatt. Her legacy continues through her son, Douglas Andrews of Keyport, her five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her in their hearts.
A woman of remarkable resilience and independence, Carol spent many years as an over-the-road truck driver for Corbisiero Trucking, alongside her husband; she found joy in the journey, navigating the highways with skill and enthusiasm.
Carol's interests extended beyond the driver's seat. She possessed a creative spirit, often found crocheting and engaging in various crafts.
An animal lover through and through, Carol's compassionate nature was evident in the care she provided to all creatures, great and small.
Her presence was a source of comfort and happiness to all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she has left behind.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
