Carol J. Crawley, 88, of Middletown, passed away on Sunday, August 7th, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born and raised in Newark, moved to Keansburg in 1947, prior to moving to Middletown in 1985.
Carol worked for AT&T, Holmdel, in the janitorial services department. In her younger years she loved working with her father at his awning shop. Carol enjoyed her bible study at New Life Church in Middletown. She loved crafts, watching the game show network and gardening.
Carol was pre deceased by her parents, Horace Darling and Margaret Zimmermann Darling; her husbands, Russell F. Rock and Thomas V. Crawley; and her son, Russell D. Rock. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Bruce T. and Deborah Rock of Keansburg; her daughter and son in-law, Annie and Anthony Kurc of Florida, and a daughter in-law, Linda Rock; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. There will be a service at the funeral home at 3:30pm. On Saturday the will be a 9:00am gathering at the funeral home, prior to us leaving in precession to Green Gove Cemetery, Keyport. Burial will take place at 10:30am.
