It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Cheryl Caputo (Conley), 62, at her home in Union Beach, surrounded by her loving family. Cheri was predeceased by her parents William & Mary Conley and two sisters, Marybeth Conley and Fran Carpenella.
Born and raised in Keansburg, Cheri developed lifelong friendships, a love for Pepsi and summers along the Jersey Shore. She spent her early years in Highlands, where she worked as a lunch aide at Henry Hudson School and dedicating herself to raising her children before settling in Union Beach.
Cheri leaves behind her devoted husband of 45 years, Wayne; her beloved children, Anthony Caputo and Tiffany Fee (Aaron); and her cherished grandchildren, Cami, Jonny, and Dominic. There was nothing she loved more than being a mother and grandmother.
Cheri is also survived by her “sista” and best friend of 50 years, Kelly Reilly Fernandez (Taco); her brother, Billy Conley; sister-in-law, Kathy Vergith (Carl); and brother-in-law, David Caputo (Nancy).
