Christy Thompson

Christy Thompson, 40, of Laurence Harbor, NJ, passed away on Thursday, December 1st, at home. She was born in Rahway, lived in Cliffwood Beach most of her life, prior to moving to Laurence Harbor 12 years ago.

Christy enjoyed reading, was an avid Giants fan, watching WWE, reality TV, walking by the waterfront, she also enjoyed listing to music, watching her sister stage manage show throughout New Jersey, going to cheer competitions for her nieces, but most of all Christy loved spending time and taking care of her family.

Christy was predeceased by her parents Michael Thompson in 2022 and Judith (nee Zebrowski) Thompson in 2021 and her grandmother, Alice Thompson in 2022. She is survived by her sisters and brother in-law, Melissa Thompson and Jessie and Jay Smith all of Laurence Harbor; two aunts and uncles in-law, Wende and Sam Pickens of Pennsylvania, Cheryl and Richard Lancaster of FL; many nieces and nephews along with many cousins. She is also survived by her friends, Liz, Brady, Dub, Kathleen, Danielle, Andrew, Morgan, and Lily

On Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 3 PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation was private.

In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting donations.
