Dawn Marie Lauro

Dawn M. Lauro, 42, of Aberdeen, passed away on Friday November 15th. She was born in Oahu Hawaii, lived most of her life in Matawan, prior to moving to Aberdeen 2 years ago. Dawn was a bus driver for Helfrich Bus Company for the past 15 years; she was an avid Devils and Yankees fan, loved the Grateful Dead and enjoyed photography. Surviving are her parents Gail and John Smith of Keyport and Samuel and Peggy Lauro of Union Beach; her birth father James Jansen of Cliffwood; her grandmother Shirley Jansen; her brother Jason Jansen; 2 sisters Diane Jansen and Niki Lauro; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family and friends are welcomed to pay their respects on Monday from 3-7PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
