Dennis Ruiz passed away peacefully on June 29, 2024, at the age of 71 in Neptune, New Jersey. Born on January 31, 1953, in Manhattan, raised in Brooklyn until moving in March of 2017 to Keansburg. Dennis was a man whose warmth and kindness touched those who knew him.
Dennis was predeceased by his loving parents, Antonio Ruiz and Martha Gonzales. He is survived by his son, Daniel Ruiz, and a close-knit circle of friends who became like family over the years.
For many years, Dennis dedicated his professional life to the healthcare community as a Pharmacy Technician at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. His commitment to aiding others in their time of need, with his patience and gentle demeanor.
Dennis had a passion for music that was as vast as his generous spirit. He found joy in attending music festivals and concerts. His love for music was matched only by his love for travel, as he sought adventure and new experiences with an open heart and an insatiable curiosity about the world.
Dennis also had a profound affection for dogs, and his kind and gentle manner made him a favorite among the canines he encountered. His furry friends brought him immense happiness and companionship throughout his life.
Dennis's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. His life was a melody of kindness, compassion, and love—a song that will resonate in the memories of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Dennis Ruiz will be deeply missed, but the harmony he brought to the world will endure.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, July 10th, from 9:00am to 11:00am, at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. There will be a 10:30am service at the funeral home, interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
