Donna Ferrara, 63, of Hazlet Township, formerly of Keansburg, NJ passed away on Wednesday, November 9th 2022 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family.
Donna was born in Long Branch, NJ and was a life-long resident of Keansburg, NJ prior to moving to Hazlet Township in 2016. She was a longtime cook as well as business partner of Ferrara's Handyman Service for over 20 years. She was an avid Yankee fan, loved cooking and took pleasure in others enjoying her food, she loved doing jigsaw puzzles and adored her cockatiel Tweet. She enjoyed her coffee and cigarettes, pajamas and loved watching her favorite, The Andy Griffith Show. Before her preexisting medical conditions, she loved going fishing, going to the beach, boardwalk and concerts. She was a family woman and loved all of her family and friends dearly.
Donna was pre-deceased by her parents, Leon and Thelma Rayeski, her sister, Stella M. Caswell and brother Stanley Rayeski. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Michael Ferrara and her son David Soliz both of Hazlet Township; her daughter, Angela Soliz of Port St. Lucie, FL; four granddaughters Kasondra, Kaitlyn, Emily and Mia-Rose; brother Bernard Rayeski; Brother and Sister in laws, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, extended family and many friends.
All family and friends are invited to pay their respects for a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 19th, 2022 from 2-4pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Donations are accepted in lieu of flowers.
Cremation was private.
