Emma E. (Essmeir) Goedeker

Emma E. Goedeker, 84, of Toms River, passed away on Sunday, December 5th, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Emma was born and raised in Ibbenburen, Germany, lived in New York, Union Beach and Manchester before moving to Toms River in 2018. She was employed as a beautician in NY for many years and continued doing what she loved to do until recently. Emma loved her cat, enjoyed cooking and loved living her life on her terms, as an independent woman. 

She is predeceased by her husband, Bruno F. Goedeker Sr. in 1989. Emma is survived by her loving sons and daughter in-laws, Bruno F and Robin Goedeker of Toms River and Michael and Melanie Goedeker of Germany; and three grandchildren, Carlotta, Noah and Zoe. 

Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects for a memorial Service on Friday, Dec 10 from 10am to 12pm at the Jacqueline M Ryan Home for Funerals Inc. 233 Carr Ave Keansburg. A burial of ashes will immediately follow at Bayview Cemetery, Leonardo
