Emma Ann Hansen

Emma Ann Hansen age 104 died peacefully Tuesday, March 21st, in FL

Emma was born in Essex County on February 8th, 1919

Emma loved to crochet and spend time with her family friends and grandchildren, Emma had a big heart and would help anyone in their time of need. She was known and loved by many people. We can only imagine what she has seen and gone through in 100 years, she survived the Great Depression, probationary, women's rights, etc…

Before moving to Florida Emma was a long-time resident of the Bayshore area, she retired from Foodtown in Port Monmouth on highway 36 before moving to Florida

Emma was predeceased by her parents her husband Herbert Hansen her son Peter Hansen and her granddaughter Debbie Hansen 

Emma is survived by her son Bert and daughter-in-law Diane Hansen of Florida and her grandchildren Jeffrey Burt, Christopher John, Jean Marie, and Michael her son Robert and daughter-in-law Lois Hansen of Union Beach, and her grandchildren  Robert Hansen and daughter-in-law Lisa and Tammy Hansen.

Emma is also survived by her grandson Joseph Hansen and his wife Christine of Keansburg her granddaughter Jennifer Hansen of Middletown her granddaughter Megan Ruby of Middletown

Her granddaughter Heather Hansen of Florida Denise Hansen of Florida and grandson Peter Hansen of Arizona

Many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren…

As her grandchildren, we always knew we had an angel on Earth now we know we have one looking down on us to guide us and protect us you will forever be missed and loved…
