Francis "Franny" Stenz

August 7, 1959 ~ February 11, 2022 (age 62)


Francis W “Franny” Stenz, 62, of Hazlet, passed away on Friday, February 11th, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel. He was born in New York City, raised in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan prior to moving to Keansburg in 1973. Franny enjoyed going fishing, was an avid Jet’s fan, loved spending time with family and friends.  He will always be remembered as an all-around great guy with a heart of gold. Franny was always the life of the party and that extra light in the room when he walked in.

He worked at one time as a truck driver for C&C Trucking. Francis was pre-deceased by his parents, Francis Stenz in 1993 and Marilyn (Kenney) Stenz in 2011. Surviving are his three daughters and son- in-law, Donna Marie Stenz and her fiancé Jamie Kelly, Sarah Ann Stenz- Parks and her husband  Daniel and Callie Elizabeth Stenz; the mother of his daughter, Judy Osborne; two sisters and brother in-laws, Mickey Stenz and Harry Hopper and Francine and Gus Konstantinidis; his niece and nephews, Robert, Matthew, Dina, and George and many extended family and friends.

 Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, from 4-8 PM at the Jacqueline M Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Avenue, Keansburg. On Thursday, February 17th, 2022, a Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Church, Keansburg. A private cremation will follow.
