George W Morgan

George W. Morgan of Keansburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 31 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was born in Morristown, NJ, lived in Stanhope until moving to Keansburg 46 years ago. George was retired from the Building and Grounds Department of Monmouth County. He was a communicant of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg; he enjoyed collecting coins and sports memorabilia, trips to Atlantic City, and fishing in his younger years. George is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Isabel of Keansburg; a daughter, Georgiann La Salle of Brick; two sons and daughter-in-laws Glenn and Carolyn Morgan of Toms River, and Chris and Linda Morgan of Atlantic Highlands; a brother, Edward Morgan; three sisters, Virginia Fiorello, Gloria Griswold and Janet Lindkvist; 9 grandchildren; Patrick, Glenn Jr, David, Sean, Amy, Meghan, Travis, Michael, and Melissa and 5 great-grandchildren; Ryley, Eoin, Kyle, Delaney, and Dominick. On Saturday Aug 10 there will be a memorial mass at St. Ann's at 10:15 am. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg.
