George Truchon Obituary

George W. Truchon Jr., 51, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday February 8th, at Jersey Shore Center, Eatontown. He was born at South Amboy Memorial Hospital, was raised in Keansburg and graduated from Keansburg High School in 1981, prior to moving to Middletown. George was a tractor trailer driver. He was a former member of the Keansburg Fire Company and played Santa on the fire trucks for a couple of Christmases. George loved truck shows, model trains and trucks. Surviving are his parents and step parents George and Ellen Truchon of Hazlet and Carol Amey and her companion Robert Denning of Westfield; 2 sisters and brothers in-law Nancy and Robert Blackburn of Kendall Park, Deborah and Joseph Pedone of Arizona; his step-brother Patrick Sullivan of Union Beach; he was a loving uncle to his 4 nieces Justine, Vanessa, Shandi and Jessica. Family will be accepting friends on Tuesday 4-8PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
