Grace Helen (Ackerman) Montgomery

Grace H. Montgomery, 87, of Holmdel, passed away on Saturday February 22nd, at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. She was born in Irvington, lived in Keansburg and Keyport, prior to moving to Holmdel in 2011. Grace was a waitress at the Heidleberg for more than 20 years, she worked at the Shore Point, Yee Cottage Inn and sang at the Boat House in Union Beach. Grace was a singer for Misty Haze and The Night Owls. She also was a loving mother and grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Grace was pre-deceased by her husband Arthur Montgomery 34 years ago; her son Edward Schork in 2010 and her daughter Marlane Provvedi in 1994. Surviving are 4 sons and daughters in-law Frederick Schork of Keansburg; Ronald and Cheryl Schork of Keansburg; Dale and Nancy Schork of Hazlet; Charles and Donna Schork of Keansburg and Barbara Schork of Highlands. 6 daughters and sons in-law Paula and Dave Kite of Keyport; Norma Baving of Florida; Cathy Brooks of Keansburg; Rhonda and Richard Walters of Keansburg; Grace and Tom Brown of Middletown and Theresa and Les Hynes of Keansburg. Her sister in-law Jean Ackerman of Union Beach. 30 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. Family will be accepting friends on Tuesday 4-8PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Burial will be on Wednesday 10:30AM at Green Grove Cemetery, Keyport. Letters of condolences can be sent to www.jacquelinemryanfh.com
