James M. Sutton Sr., 55, of Keansburg passed away on Thursday, January 6th. He was born in Jersey City, and has been a life-long resident of Keansburg. James was a gas attendant for Shell gas station; he was a handy man and a painter. He loved taking care of his family and enjoyed cooking. James was pre deceased by his parents; James and Barbara Sutton and two brothers Edward and Thomas Sutton. He is survived by his loving companion of 26 years; Lynnell (Nella) Fay of Keansburg, his son; James Sutton Jr. of Keansburg, his step son; Dobbie Siegert of Keansburg, his step daughter; Lauren Siegert of Keansburg, his brother and sister in-law; Michael and Tammy Sutton of Marlboro, three sisters and brothers in-law; Carol and Al Cuomo of Manalapan, Eleane and Tony Arauz of North Carolina and Joan Kirsten-Sutton of New York, his granddaughter; Lily Siegert of Keansburg, his dog; Jay Jay, many nieces, nephews and extended family. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
