Joanne L. (Carl) Godette

Joanne L. Godette, 75, of Port Monouth, passed away on Tuesday, August 30th, at home. She was born in Jersey City, lived in Belleville most of her life, moved to Keansburg, prior to moving to Port Monmouth. Joanne was an armed security guard for Pomptonian in Kearney. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting. Joanne had the knack of figuring out how to make any craft she saw. She loved shooting her guns, bingo and trips to Atlantic City with her late husband. Joanne was pre deceased by her husband, Thomas Godette in 2012 and her daughter, Denise Godette in 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Godette; her brother, Henry Carl and her sister Gail Carl; six grandchildren, Desiree, Danielle, Brittnie, Hayley, Tommie Anne and Kali; six great grandchildren, Jordan, Dominick, Norah, Delilah, A.J. and Julian; her companion, Sonny Bartucci; Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
