John Torres Jr.

John Torres Jr., 66, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday March 30th, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was born and raised in Newark, prior to moving to Middletown, 32 years ago. John was a self- employed general contractor; loved fishing and he will be missed very dearly. Surviving is his wife of 30 years Donna Torres of Highlands; 2 sons and daughters in-law John and Lori Torres III of Rockaway and David and Lynn Torres of Hazlet; 3 daughters and son in-law Shelly Bemis of Keansburg, Nicole Torres-Jean-Noel and Xavier Noel of Middletown and Jenna Torres of Middletown; his brother Happy Torres of Springfield; 2 sisters Linda Kohr of Cranford and Liz Morales of Elizabeth and 6 grandchildren. Family will be accepting friends on Wednesday 7-9PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
