Kathleen A Cassarello

Kathleen Ann Cassarello, age 61, was called home by God on January 8th, 2022 at Riverview Medical Center.
Kathleen was born on December 4th, 1960 in New York, NY to parents Thomas Faye and Ida MacFarlane before moving to Keansburg, NJ where she was raised and spent the rest of her life. She touched countless lives as a preschool teacher at Union Beach Headstart and St. John's Methodist Church after going back to school and receiving her Associate's degree at Brookdale Community College. In 1988, she married her best friend and the love of her life, Joseph A.(Dinky) Cassarello of Keansburg.
Kathleen is survived by her loving husband, 1 son, Joseph T. Cassarello of Keansburg, 4 daughters, Kimberly K. Cassarello and husband William Rutherford Jr. of Keansburg, Kerriann Cassarello of Keansburg, Kaitlyn Cassarello of Keansburg, Raven Binder of Queens, NY, 2 brothers, Thomas Faye and wife Kim Faye of Hazlet, Charles Faye of Keansburg, 2 sisters, Veronica Carson and husband Brian Carson of Middletown, Patricia Mirro and husband Jack Mirro of Hazlet, 3 beautiful grandchildren, Dominick, Savina, and William III and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces. 
She lived entirely for her family and loved nothing more than being Gamma. She most enjoyed shopping/lunch dates with her husband, movie nights, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs, Bears and the Toronto Maple Leafs. She had a passion for writing and inspiring others through her poetry. Kathleen will be most remembered for her selflessness, humor, and ability to light up any room she walked into. 

Family will be accepting friends on Tuesday, Jan 18, for a memorial service from 4 PM to 7 PM
