Linda Aidukas passed away Monday August 16, 2021 in Virginia.
Linda spent her life always wanting to make people happy. Linda was always willing to help a friend in need. As a matter of fact, willing to help perfect strangers as well. Linda worked for many years as a nurse’s aide and for the past 23 years a Recreation Aide for Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehab. Linda cared so much for the Residents, her co-workers, and just all people in general. The Residents loved Linda’s quick wit and creativity, and Linda was always ready to burst out into song with them, knowing it’s just what they needed at that moment. Linda’s life wasn’t always easy, but regardless she continued to forge on and made the best of each day she was granted.
Many years ago, Linda met the love of her life, Rich Aidukas. Linda would smile from ear to ear just at the mention of him. Shortly after they married, Rich passed away suddenly. This was incredibly difficult for Linda, but she cherished the moments they did get to share together, and kept his memory alive with lots of happy-teared filled stories.
Linda loved and collected thimbles, enjoyed road trips, Disney and was always ready with a great story to tell, no matter what the topic. Linda loved her friends and family unconditionally, and her soul was as pure and genuine as could be. Linda will be missed greatly, and she will be remembered always.
Linda’s friends at Arnold Walter are making a donation in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital,
obituary written and request to be put on this site by her co-workers
