Maria A. Cordero, 59, of Asbury Park, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 17th, at Jersey Shore medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Manhattan, NY, and has been a life-long resident of Asbury Park. Maria was a cashier for the Burger King in Neptune. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to sing and listen to music. Maria was pre deceased by her parents; Eusebio Cordero and Carmen Cordero and her brother; Jael Cordero. She is survived by her son; Bernard Carbone of Keansburg, four daughters; Naquida Cordero of Toms River, Taisha Cordero, Tameka Cordero and Alicia Cordero all of Keansburg, two brothers; Eusebio Cordero of Freehold and Aniba Cordero of Asbury Park, three sisters; Carmen Cordero of Ohio, Lucy Juarez of Freehold and Olga Kern of Bradley Beach. Eight grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, January 30th from 3-5pm for a memorial service at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. A religious service will be held at the funeral home at 3:30pm
