MaryEllen Holtz

MaryEllen Holtz, 43, of Keansburg, passed away Tuesday, July 27th at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel. She was born on Brooklyn, NY and has been a lifelong resident of the Bayshore area. MaryEllen worked as a cook for Boston Market, Middletown for many years. She loved her job, but when she wasn’t working, she enjoyed going to the beach and being in the sun, she loved to sing and she was always happy, but what was most important to her was spending time with her children and her family. MaryEllen is predeceased by her uncle, Edward Holtz. She is survived by her three sons; Zavier Burulia, Mark Burulia, and Isiah Burulia, a daughter; Ivy Burulia, her mother; Mary Holtz, two brothers; Robert Holtz and Eddie Holtz, she sister; Margaret Holtz, two aunts; Margaret Fasino and Patricia Holtz, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday from 4-7pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. A private cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers family will be accepting donation for the children’s education
