Melissa Morrison, 41, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, April11th, at home. She was born in Red Bank and lived in the Bayshore area all her life. Melissa was a waitress/ counter help for Nicasias' in Keansburg. She enjoyed making jewelry and candles; she enjoyed anything Gothic and loved The Nightmare Before Christmas. She enjoyed the Zombie Walk, thrift stores and doing make up. Melissa was a creative person. Melissa was pre-deceased by her maternal grandfather; Donald E. Knapp Sr., her paternal grandmother; Frances Morrison, her aunt; Donna Knapp-Pellegrino and her uncle; Edward Knapp. She is survived by her mother and step-father; Brenda and Art Worth of Keansburg, her father; Raymond Morrison of Pennsylvania, her significant other of 10 years, Jeremy Masker of Middletown, her son; Jaxon Donald Masker of Middletown and Taylor Masker of Manahawkin, her maternal grandmother; Elizabeth Knapp of Hazlet, her brother; Christopher Worth of Union Beach, her sister; Melanie Morrison of Old Bridge, her in-laws; Thomas and Jacqualine Karinja of Middletown, three uncles; Don Knapp of Hazlet, Tom Pellegrino of Brick and David Morrison of North Carolina, two aunts; Donna and Kim Morrison of Florida, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday from 4-8pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
