Obituary

Myran  Alberti, 80, of Hazlet, passed away on Monday, January, 23rd, at home. She was born in Long Branch, and raised in the Bayshore area, before moving to Keansburg in 1969. Myran was a homemaker. She enjoyed the beach, knitting, and crocheting and she loved spending time with her family.

Myran was pre-deceased by her parents, Frank and Bertha Alberti;  her two sons, John Luis Alberti in 2014 and Samuel David Mercado in 2010; her daughter, Barbara Diana Mercado in 1994 and her two brothers, Carl Frank Arendt and Rudolph Arnold Saltzman.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William Robert and Terry Jean Williams of Keansburg; two daughters, Margarita Lisa Mercado and Linda Mercado of South Plainfield; her sister-in-law, Rose Marie Saltzman; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, January 29th from 1-3 pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation was private.
