Obituary

Nilda F. White, of Port Monmouth, formerly of Keansburg, passed away on Sunday, November 13th, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born and raised in Long Branch till 1980, moved to California and was a bus driver and then was the church secretary for West Covina Methodist Church. Nilda moved back to Tinton Falls in 2005, prior to moving to Keansburg and then finally in Port Monmouth with her daughter.

Nilda was a past member of the Moose Ladies and the VFW in California. She enjoyed bowling, loved to travel and doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nilda was pre-deceased by her parents, Norman and Dorothy Brown and her loving husband, Stanley White in 2013. She is survived by her two sons, William Elberson Jr. and CJ of Texas and James Elberson and Gina of California; her daughter, Dawn Danville and Andy of Port Monmouth; ten grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects for a memorial Service on Friday, November 18th from 4-6pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation was private.
