Patricia (Tomaro) Matthews

Patricia Matthews, 74, of Keansburg, passed away surrounded by her family at home, on Thursday, July 28,2022. She was born in Jersey City to Ralph and Anna Tomaro on August 3, 1947, lived in Hazlet before moving to Keansburg in 1979.

 Pat worked for Pathmark as a deli employee and meat wrapper, for over 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed listening to Country music, Tweety Bird, Ring Dings and watching the Hallmark Channel, Grace and Frankie, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.   

Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Ralph Tomaro and Anna Rudo, and her brother, Ralph Sorrentino. She is survived by her loving children, Robert T. Dolan of Hazlet, Thomas J Dolan (Kelly) of Belford, Pattyann Dolan (Ariel) of Keansburg and Michael Dolan (Cheryl) of North Carolina; a brother and sister in-law, Paul M. and Carole Tomaro of Barnegat; three sisters Joann Delaney and Frances Tomaro-Lisa both of Toms River and Carmela Rudo- Leitermann of Manchester; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.    

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. Catherine’s Church 110 Bray Avenue, Middletown on Tuesday, 9:30 am August 2, 2022, The arrangements are under the care of Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals, 233 Carr Avenue, Keansburg. Cremation was private.
