Robert Allen Lumley, 75, of Trenton, formally a lifelong resident of Keansburg, passed away on Thursday, May 11th, at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly. He was born in Bloomfield and lived most of his life in Keansburg, prior to moving to Trenton 20 years ago.
Robert was a retired factory worker at Anchor Glass. He loved listening to Elvis and was a big fan of Muhammad Ali. Robert enjoyed spending time on the water, crabbing, and fishing.
Robert is survived by his wife, Theresa Lumley of Trenton; his son and daughter-in-law, Robertjohn and Brooke Lumley of Hazlet; a daughter and her fiancé, Crystal Lumley and Peter Murphy of Belmar; and three grandchildren, Lucas, Avery, and Angelo.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, May 25th, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Robert’s memory to an organization of your choice.
