Thomas “T-Bone” LeBedz Jr., 61 a lifelong resident of Keansburg, passed away at Roosevelt Care Center, Edison, on Sunday, May 21, 2023. He was born on March 13, 1962, in Red Bank to the late Thomas and Dorothy LeBedz Sr.
Tom was self-employed as a contractor for many years. He was an avid Yankees and Steelers fan, in his younger years T-Bone was involved in playing all types of sports, and he enjoyed listening to his favorite band Queen along with classic Rock music, loved to go fishing and hunting, but he loved spending time with family and friends.
Thomas was predeceased by his three sisters, Diane Kennedy in 2010, Victoria Chafin in 2022, and Christine LeBedz in 1979 and his nephew Robert McArthur in 2020. He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Zink of South Amboy; a brother, David LeBedz of Keansburg; two stepsons and daughter-in-law Joseph Lupino and Krystal Venegas of South Amboy and John Lupino also of South Amboy; his mother-in-law, whom he affectionally called “mom”, Marilyn Bartlett; two cats, Tigra and Ink, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. There will be a religious service at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 5:15 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family.
