Veronica Jane Edwards

Veronica Jane Edwards, 66, of Keansburg, passed away on Thursday, September 15th, at Laurel Bay Nursing Home, Keansburg. She was born and raised in Kearny, prior to moving to Keansburg in 1980. Veronica worked for K-Mart of Hazlet as an office manager for over 30 years. She enjoyed bingo, Atlantic City and the horse track; she also liked country music, arts and crafts and was an avid Jets fan. She loved her family and kids and was a mom and grandma to a lot of people in town. She was loved by many and will be truly missed. Veronica was pre deceased by her parents, Howard and Anna Edwards; her brother, Henry Edwards and her sister, Susan Edwards. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Jack and Roni Lynn Wood; and her grand-daughter, Stella Jane Wood of Keansburg; her step son, Glynn Hilton of Colts Neck; her step daughter, Katie Hilton of Florida; her brother, Michael Edwards of Kearny; three other grandchildren, Brenda, Alexis and Landon Richmond. Many nieces, nephews and extended family. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday from 2-4pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Shriners at www.lovetotherescue.org. Cremation will be private.
