William Dennehy

William Dennehy, 76, of Hazlet, passed away on Wednesday, December 29th, at Care One at King James, Highlands. Bill was born in County Cork, Ireland, immigrated to America in 1965 and joined the US Army. He lived in Jersey City prior to moving to Hazlet in 1986. Bill was a plumber for Penn Station, Newark, NJ Transit. He loved fishing with his granddaughter, Monmouth Park Racetrack and Irish Music. Bill was always happy and loved being with his family and friends. He was pre deceased by his late wife; Nancy Dennehy in 2014 his  two brothers; James Dennehy and Daniel Dennehy and his sister in-law Peggy Dennehy. He is survived by his son and fiancé; William Dennehy Jr and Lauren Stiesi, his daughter and son inlaw; Kelly and Lucky Dennehy, two brothers and sisters in law; Michael and Mary Dennehy, John Dennehy and Digna Dennehy, His sister; Ann O’Sullivan, his granddaughter; Lia Dennehy, many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, January 8th from 2-4pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation was private.
