Obituary
William F. Giese Jr., 67, of Matawan, passed away on Monday, December 26th, at home. He was born in Newark, raised in Laurence Harbor, moved to Union Beach in 1977, prior to moving to Matawan five years ago.
William served in the US Navy from 1973 to 1974, and was an electrician for Local Union 164. William was a former member of the Union Hose Fire Company in Union Beach and was an active member of St. Lawrence Church in Laurence Harbor.
William was an avid Giants and Red Bulls fan. He enjoyed re-runs and retirement. He loved making breakfast and cooking. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
William was pre-deceased by his parents, William F. and Theresa Giese Sr. He is survived by his three daughters and sons in-law, Jennifer and Philip Trumper of South Carolina, Erin and Elmer Lamberson of Union Beach and Megan Giese of Union Beach; his sister, Elizabeth Giese of Delaware; five grandchildren, Tyler, Dakota, Makenzie, Colin and Shoshanna.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, from 5-7pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
