William “Bill” M. Kelly, 76, of Keyport, passed away on Monday, October 10th, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Jersey City and has been a life-long resident of Keansburg, prior to moving to Keyport in 2003.
Bill was a butcher for Shoprite in Sayreville, he was a life Member of the New Point Comfort Fire Company #1, he enjoyed playing cards, listening to the Wolftones and was an avid Yankee and Giants fan.
Bill was pre deceased by his parents, Michael and Helen Kelly; two brothers, Michael and Thomas Kelly; four sisters, Virginia Bocis, Geraldine Breitweiser, Dorothy Pedero and Patricia Stirone. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Kelly of Keyport; three sons and daughters in-law, Owen and Tara Kelly of Keansburg, Sean and Christine Kelly of Middletown and Brendan and Lauren Kelly of Hazlet; two brothers, Robert Kelly of Tennessee and Jack Kelly of Florida; three sisters, Helen Roberts of Florida, Marilyn Horath of Toms River and Kathy Ardizzone of Toms River; ten grandchildren, Amanda, Owen, Patrick, Timothy, Jorgi, Raychell, Tiernan, Breanna, Carter and Mia.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, October 14th, from 4-8pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Saturday there will be a 10:00am service at the funeral home, burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
