John Anthony Gossweiler, 49, of Belford, passed away on Friday, August 28th, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel. He was born in Belleville on April 26, 1971, lived in Keansburg prior to moving to Belford 4 years ago. John worked as a landscaper for many years. He was the former owner of A & J Fence Company, he enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and loved to shoot pool. He will always be remembered for his famous quote “Lean Back”. John is predeceased by his sister, Genevieve “Jennie” Renna. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Kane; three sons, John, Austin and Nicolas; two daughters, Angelina and Giavana; a brother, Anthony Kane; a grandson, John(JJ); his girlfriend Sherri McLoughlin and many extended family and friends. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, Sept 12th from 4-6PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave Keansburg.

As per the regulations imposed through the State of New Jersey, there will now be a maximum of 50 people allowed in the funeral home at one time. To accommodate all of John’s family and friends, we ask that you please be brief while visiting in order to make room for additional guest to pay their respects; we thank you for understanding.
