Kenneth “ Kenny” Acker Jr, 50, of Port Monmouth, passed away on Friday, May 15th, at home. He was born in Long Branch and has been a life-long resident of Port Monmouth. Kenneth was a driver for Advanced Auto in Middletown. He loved anything and everything to do with cars. He enjoyed spending time with family, listening to 80’s rock Kiss was his favorite band. He also played the guitar. Kenneth was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Barbara Acker. He is survived by his fiancé for 20 years, Laura Giordano of Port Monmouth; his son, Kenneth “Augie” Acker of Port Monmouth; two daughters, Jessica Acker and Gina Acker of Port Monmouth; his sister and brother in-law, Denise and Tommy Trotter of Middletown; his two nieces, Dominiquea of Maryland and Karissa of Port Monmouth and his brother in-law Duke Giordano of Brooklyn. Arrangements are entrusted to the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
